Two runners at Windsor this evening, including course specialist SIR PLATO.

MISS VIXEN – 6:10 Windsor ATR

Foxwedge filly that stepped up nicely on her second start at Newbury, beaten just over five lengths and was staying on strongly inside the final furlong. There does not look to be a lot of strength in depth to this fillies novice this evening and it would be no surprise if she improved again on this third start.

SIR PLATO – 8:40 Windsor ATR

Tough four-year-old who had an excellent campaign last year with five wins, four of which came at his beloved Windsor. Things have been tougher this year, but he battled on gamely to win in a photo at Bath in June and then narrowly lost out back at Windsor two weeks later, losing out by a head. He didn’t seem to enjoy Kempton last time and back at the riverside track this evening, he should take a lot of beating from the front once again.
