Just the one runner today as Handytalk bids to finally get a win at the home of the Derby – three runs at the unique track have yielded three seconds and he thoroughly deserves that victory. He was runner-up in this race last year and again meets the winner Highland Acclaim but is two pounds better off, five if you consider Jason Watson’s claim. It’s a shame the ground has gone soft but none of his four rivals want it either and he should not be too far away.
SIR PLATO – SECOND
Another solid run by Sir Plato at his favourite track of Windsor on Saturday night, just losing out to another course specialist in Optimus Time. He did not get the easy lead he craves so it was still a decent effort to finish second and he has had a solid season after his fantastic five wins last year.
