We have HAVANA BEAT (2:45) and HELLOFAHASTE (3:20) on C4 at Newmarket on Saturday and there is some nice prize money on offer in their respective Listed races. Havana Beat has been very difficult to keep right in the spring and this is a delayed debut for the yard. He will certainly come on for the run and soft ground is a concern on his past form but it is not a particularly strong race at Listed level and hopefully he runs creditably. Hellofahaste has always shown plenty of promise at home and ran well to finish fourth at Goodwood on debut and then showed an impressive turn of foot to win her maiden at Salisbury, despite been too far out of her ground. She need to improve plenty on the bare form but she is much better than she showed on that occasion and while seven furlongs is needed, the soft ground will make it a strong stamina test and it would be great for her owner-breeders if she can pick up some black type.
