It was another great run from stable star MASTER CARPENTER who ran a cracker to finish third in the Huxley Stakes at Chester behind Cannock Chase and just been denied second by a shorthead to Western Hymn. He picked up another £8,000 in prize money and saw his official mark go back up to 110. He lost a shoe which did not help matters but has come out of the race in great shape. His next target is the Group 1 Coronation Cup at Epsom over twelve furlongs. It is a race that rarely attracts many runners so hopefully that is the case and he can pick up some more place money.
