Master Carpenter runs in the Group 1 Lockinge at Newbury tomorrow. It looks ultra competitive with 18 runners – a record for the race – and I am sure we’ll find easier options for him in France next month and the race should put him spot on for that.
It’s a very exciting day for us as we have Handytalk running in the Olympic Glory Stakes, worth £32,000 to the winner. It’s the first running of the race and is very competitive but Handytalk goes there with a good chance with the form of his previous races working out well.
Bonnie Grey runs in the Junction 17 Cars Sprint Trophy at Newmarket, another very competitive race worth £28,000 to the winner.
It’s the first time we’ve run a horse in foal – she’s been covered by Harbour Watch – and they say it can improve a mare. Let’s hope this is the case with Bonnie Grey!
