We have a busy week coming up with several runners. Master Carpenter has been left in the Lockinge at Newbury this Saturday. Ideally we would like to have got a run into him before the race and being a group I it will be very competitive but we’ll take a chance.

Handytalk goes for the Olympic Glory Conditions Race. He ran a very well at Ascot in the Times+ Conditions Stakes where he was beaten four and half lengths into second and he’s crying out for the extra furlong which he’ll get on Saturday.

Bonnie Grey is in the listed Tornado Carnarvon Stakes and she’s also entered in a £40,000 added handicap at Newmarket on the same day. She missed her intended race at Newmarket last weekend due to the soft ground but she ran well in the Fred Darling. She’s strengthened up a lot over the winter and is a class filly.

Marcano was disappointing first time out at Chelmsford in March but we’ve had him gelded since and we hope this helps him concentrate more in today’s 1m handicap at Doncaster.

Taws put up a great performance at Ascot on Friday where she was beaten just a length and a half into third in the 2m apprentice handicap. She’s one of the slowest horses we’ve ever had in training, but she has so much class and ability and may have a crack at Ascot’s Queen Alexandra Stakes over two miles six furlongs with the Cesarewitch a long term target. She’ll next run at Haydock on May 23.
