Master Carpenter travels to Haydock for the Group 3 John of Groats stakes and with the heavy rain forecast he should get his favored ground. Rab Havelyn is up so we are hopeful of a good run.
Also travelling up with him is Marcano , we think he will also like the ground. He is back to 6 furlongs for the first time since his 2 year old debute.
Furthermore Bonnie Grey has been retired to stud. She has left our yard in good health and is in foal to Harbour Watch. She has been a great horse to have in the yard being placed second in the Group 3 Prestige Stakes at Goodwood last year. Although small in stature she had a very big heart and tried her best every time she ran. We wish her well in her new career as a Mum!
