Midnight Rider scored at Chepstow on the 16th July for the 2nd time this season, under a very good ride with Oisin Murphy, making a best of a bad draw. He got him in a good position and came with a strong run to win the race. We may bring him out quickly at Windsor on Monday ( 20th July) as it is one of his favorite tracks. Midnight Rider is currently out in the paddock telling the other horses just how clever he’s been.
Our heavy weight Jockey Patrick Millman has given up the unequal battle with the scales and has relinquished his Apprentice Licence, but we haven’t lost him to the track completely as he is applying for an Amateur Licence where the weights are a lot heavier. Pat, who has ridden 18 winners on the flat already, should be in demand for future Amateur races.
