As usual it is a Monday night at Windsor and we have two runners in action and both are course winners, lets hope that winning run continues.

BIOTIC – 6:00 Windsor ATR

It has been a while since Biotic last entered the winner’s enclosure, an 8lb rise after winning a Kempton handicap by four lengths in September 2015 left him in the grip of the handicapper for some time and he appears to have lost his confidence in recent starts. However, the handicapper has finally relented as he is 15lb lower than when beaten a neck at Windsor a year ago but that is due to a complete loss of form and we can’t pinpoint a reason why. However, he will strip fitter for a disappointing return and is ridden by Theodore Ladd, who won on Mawde on Saturday, one of the more experienced riders in the race and hopefully he will show something this evening.

SIR PLATO – 8:00 Windsor ATR

A real tough sort who had a fantastic three-year-old campaign, winning five races and rising from 57 to 82. That mark was beyond him but given an easy lead and down to 73 at Bath last time, he battled on gamely under tonight’s rider Jason Watson to win by a short head. He is three pounds higher this evening but the runner-up Breanski won last week so the form is working out. We are also hoping that the return to a mile at his beloved Windsor, where he recorded four of his wins last summer, will see further improvement and he should not be too far away.
