It was good to see Daddies Girl run right up to her best when finishing second in a £15,000 fillies handicap at Nottingham on Tuesday, once again showing just how tough she is by battling all the way to the line. Frustratingly she will be going back up the handicap once again so it may be that we try and get a bit of black type, having come agonisingly close when fourth at Newbury in the autumn.
